the simple yoga that i know is to sit at the Feet of the Divine Mother and cry for Her Divine Grace so that you can feel that She is always with you. Yoga is to unite yourself with the Mother and be free of all worries and fears.
Lots of love and blessings,

How can i join Satsang
21st May 2010 - 00:35 (Yoga)

By being with your breath.
love and blessings

Respected Baba, Pranam, My point of question is what is life? How can I broaden this life to infinity? How can I get infinite pleasure and how can I understand the mystery of this universe? Why am I here and what is my role in this universe? (I – which is very negligible in comparison to the Universe) How can I transform this individual physical sheath to the universal one to get immense pleasure of each being. Whatever each and everyone think there is duality but how can I get the absolute one & where there is no duality? How can I understand everywhere is only I and how? I am telling about the reality (whether it is a state of mind or anything else). What is the reality of life, whether it is illusion or real, please Baba…Pranam Baba, Bibhu

Your name signifies infinite expansion.
Don't get into too many questions, just start with the humble submission to Baba Lokenath to grant you more faith at His Lotus Feet and also patience to wait Till He speaks in your heart the answer to your fundamental quest of life.
you can be rest assured, that as long as you have a genuine question in your heart, you will surely get the reply.
To begin with, you start with dualism. surrender to your Sadguru. He is sitting in your heart, ready to reveal the mysteries of the world.
Love and surrender, that is the way.
Infinite blessings,

Respected Baba, pranam, I have read your answer. I am waiting for ur visit to Bhubaneswar anxiously in the month of Jyly. pl.clearly tell me about the divine as the ultimate reality. what is divinity? what is right and wrong, what is the absolute one and how can i understand or percieve all these clearly. Baba, regarding surrender and love pl. teach me detail how to surrender. regarding breath how can i understand the breath, beyond breath is there any other ultimate reality in the universe? Baba, regarding materialistic life, whether any one can live for ever with this physical body? If not what about the 7 heros in the sastra and for the present cycle Mahavatar Babaji, Have you ever seen Babaji? Birth and death are must but how a man can get rid of from these cycle. As birth leads to death similarly death leads to birth after the end of sanskars. where is the problem to live in this physical body for ever with contact to the supreme being just like mahavatar baba, baba trailanga or baba lokanath. ananda/ pleasure is the ultimate reality. whatever a man does this is only for happiness of th self. how can i identify the self and wht exactly the life/ self is? From Baba sri sri ravi sankar's point of view gita is full of contradiction and from krishnanda's point of view life is full of cotradiction, actually all these are right? whether everything is contradiction in relation to the time and place. Baba help me and illuminate all my darkness with all your radiant power. pl. excuse me for writing such and such words. Pranam Baba. Bibhu. I am eagerly waiting for you. Pranam. Bhubaneswar

You have asked too too many questions at one shot. You have to focus on what is your most important question and just select the one that is upper most in your mind needing a solution.
Write it short and send it and then i will try to go one by one.
Lots of love

Respected Baba, Pranam, I do not know what i am going to write. Sir, i am completely confused about my life. what is life? what is emotion? what is ego? How can get rid of from all these? how can get immense satisfaction in life to get the eternal one. Pl. excuse me i am asking you a lot of questions at a time? pardon sir. When ever i am reading about the life history of saints or any other spiritual books i get satisfaction, internal peace and peace of mind but when ever i go to the world for karma i can't maintain such type of peace even trying to be as Drashta/observer for each situation but not possible. THough i understand all these things but i feel all are theory only how can I practically realise all these things. pl. pray for me what my life leads to................BIBHU ,BHUBANESWAR, ORISSA

The path is simple, Just accept the Divine as the ultimate reality and is close to you as your breath or The Spirit/Soul within.

Don't expect too much out of your spiritual practices in terms of results in the materialistic aspirations of your life. Practice surrender and love and repetition of the Divine Name within you as a practice, for God never forsakes His devotees, who ever takes refuge at His Lotus Feet, He showers His infinite blessing and Grace.

You are close to Jagganath Temple, where the Lord presides over the Universe, Surrender to Him with love and expect nothing but unalloyed Bhakti, devotion to His Lotus Feet.
As you put no condition for the practice and surrender, the Lord is pleased and blesses you with fulfillment.
My blessings are ever with you.
Keep touch with me, I have plans of visiting Bhubaneshwar may be by July when it cools down a bit. Write to me in July to know when am i visiting your city.

Blessed Baba, with pranams and gratitude, why is it so hard to be disciplined enough to do one's daily breathing and stretching practices? Why do we sometimes seem to be at war with our own bodies? Why do we feel so separated from our bodies? With Love and Gratitude, Norman
9th January 2010 - 23:19 (Yoga)

that is my question too, do you have an answer!
May be it is question of felt need. When you will deeply feel the need for the practices to keep your body healthy, you will do the practices without ever forgetting it. Just as you don't forget to eat and take rest.
Lots of love and blessings,

Shuvro:Baba can you please explain the different paths of Yoga like Jnana,Bhakti,Raja and Karma Yoga?
20th December 2008 - 05:31 (Yoga)

All paths of Yoga ultimately reach to the same Goal of Self knowledge or God realization. Let me share with you briefly the most wondrous paths to God.

Jnana Yoga:
This is the path of discriminative knowledge. The aspirant of Truth seeks the Truth through the intellect. Of course this path presumes that the seeker has a refined intellect. The refined intellect can discriminate between the transient and the permanent, between the temporary and the eternal. The sadhaka tries to meditate upon the self beyond all dualism. The search is to seek not just a verbal answer to the fundamental quest of life as to "Who am I?" but to experience the reality of the Truth. The discrimination is between who am i not and who am I? The sadhaka denies everything that is not the Higher Self as non reality or as Maya or illusion. To him or her, the world become a place a shadow play. A dream world! The seers of Jnana Yoga tell us, that when a person truly awakens from the illusive dream life of dualism the world drops for ever and what remains is the Self manifested as Self. By knowing the Self you know all.

Bhakti Yoga: This is the path for the masses, for it is the path through the heart and emotion. It is a dualistic path to begin with. The devotee trusts in the word of the Master and follows the path of love and devotional services to the God and tries to patiently go through all the karmic processes without any resistance and accept all that happens as the Will of God. Bhakti yoga as a practice is to efface the ego the menace. As all the miseries of life stems from the shadow existence of ego and vanity, the devotee commits to surrender the ego and vanity at the Lotus Feet of God or the Sadguru the teacher. It is through the process of sublimating the ego that the devotee feels closer and closer to his Beloved and surrender deepens. It is a deep love relationship which reaches to a point of intoxication and tremendous joy of being surrendered to God or Guru. Those who are naturally emotional are drawn into the path of Bhakti and this is the safest path for the ego is annihilated through the process of self consecration and love. Love rules from the beginning in Bhakti, and love is the most supreme of all the positive powers in the Universe. It unites. Yoga is uniting with the divine.

In Bhakti yoga usually the devotee takes to the path of Japa or chanting the Divine Name received from the teacher or Master. It is the power of the Divine Name that helps cleansing the mirror of mind to reflect the Lord and His infinite Grace and Love.

Raja Yoga:
This is mind seeing the Mind. It is a path of meditation or Dhyana. It is also Dhyana Yoga. The seeker in the path of Raja Yoga is continually taught to observe the mind by the mind without any judgments. As the mind continually observes the mind the thoughts gradually tends to loose its random fantasy. It calms down. As it calms down there is more clarity of thought. Now the meditator or yogi, can see the difference in the quality of thoughts, the unwanted tendencies of negativity and violence simply leaves the mind as the process of observation or attention to thoughts is a direct way of mind purification.
You don't condemn or criticize your self or your thoughts but just watch and become more and more mindful as they are. As the process continues, you become more and more in drawn and more focused to the illumination of your own Mind, which is Divine. The Divine Light shines through you in your thougts and actions. As your mind becomes more illumined and calmed, your breath also becomes more rhythmic. It is dance of life. Life becomes celebration. That is exactly the true meaning of Yoga, you realize that life is not a misery, but is a divine romance, a joyful dance, an ecstatic celebration.

Karma Yoga:
Those who have a tendencey to do more and more work, rise high in life through achievements, and touch the peaks of successes, are best suited for this path of Yoga.
They can not sit and meditate, nor can they give up action for any ritualistic religion of the path of Bhakti, nor are they ready to dwell deep within to seek an answer to the quest of Who am I? They are ready to do and do and yet want to taste the divine intoxication.
The path of karma Yoga is to transmute action into consecration to the Divine. It is to realize ultimately that we are but the instruments of the Universe or the Divine. The seeker in this path tries to be more and more conscious and aware of the divine doer of all actions. The seer and sages tell us that "You have rights to the duty but not to the rewards thereof". Hence, you do your best for anything that you think is your part, and claim no specific reward but allow the Divine or the Universe to decide it, for the understanding is what ever happens as the consequence of actions is good for the advancement of the soul towards its higher journey. What ever reward or result comes out of any action has a deeper significance from a divine perspective than what appears to the mundane materialistic rationality.

Thus a karma yogi is ever busy in doing everything with a subtler motive of "Bahujana sukhaya, bahujana hitaya" happiness and welfare of many in this world. The purpose is to rise above the selfish motive of work, which begets praises and insults, success and failures with its joy and miseries. Through karma yoga you rise to the higher mind within you which connects to the Divine through action. You offer all your actions to the fire of illumined consciousness. Through the process of consecration and surrender, the ego is annihilated, and the Self within manifests in all its glory. The sadhak is benefited and those who are the recipient of his consecrated actions also are blessed.

But finally, to conclude, let me tell you that these paths are not water tight compartments. Each is linked to the other or leads to the other. Those who attain to Self realiztiaon though Jnana rests in Bhakti, karma, and those who follow the path of Bhakti also reaches to the point where the devotee says, i and my master are one and the same. Which is Jnana.
Choose the path according to your own prakriti, or innate natural tendencies.

As you move higher in any path of Yoga, you realize that you become the Holy confluence of the different paths, or all the paths merge in you.
